The price of Rs 4,499, Radmi Go is targeted for the first time smartphone users and offers a pure Android experience with the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition). Here Our Redmi Go First Impressions

  • The Redmi Go runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition)
  • It features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera
  • The entry-level smartphone will go on sale from Friday

It will be for Sale starting from Friday and available on Flipkart and and on the Mi Home stores across the country. We got some time with Redmi Go in the launch event, and here are our first impressions.

The new Radmi Go is compact and surprisingly strong for the plastic smartphone in this price range. Measuring 140.4x70.1x8.35mm, Redmi Go fits well in the hands and provides a good grip. It has comfortable winding edges and the scales are sculpted at just 137g.

Redmi Go has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display with 16: 9 aspect ratios, which is no longer very common. The show looked lively, but we saw the washed colors under daylight.

Bezal has capacitive Android navigation buttons and it is quite thick, which is also in the case of top bezel. Redmi Go can not look very modern, but it's okay for such low cost phones.

Radmi GO is made of plastic, but it is quite harsh and we do not have any flex in the back panel. The latest entry-level offers from Xiaomi comes in Blue and Black Color Options, which has a bright bright finish in the past, while later a matte texture.

Finishing of matte surface on the black variant does a good job to keep fingerprints and smile on the bay - as opposed to glossy plastic and glass, which raises dust and smiles quickly.

At the top of this phone there is a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microphone hole, while a micro-USB port, speaker and the other microphone hole are below. Power buttons and volume rockers are located on the right and provide a good, attractive response.

Radmi Go has two trays on the left - the upper one accommodates a single nano-SIM, while a microSD card of up to another SIM and up to 128 GB can be installed.

Xiaomi claims that there are dual pyrolite graphite sheets beneath the plastic cover, which disseminate heat from the internal components equally and keep the smartphone cool.

The front has a 8-megapixel camera with f / 2.0 aperture in front and a 5-megapixel front camera on the front to take selfie.

The Redmi Go runs the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and comes with many preinstalled apps in their ars Lite 'Avatar to work well with such low-end hardware.

The performance of Redmi Go was very small, and in our short experience the apps were loaded fast. However, we will have a final opinion for our in-depth review, because we do well to assess other parameters, including camera quality, performance, display quality and battery life.

Stay tuned to for our Redmi Go review, coming up soon.
